These policies are designed to provide clear expectations and a smooth experience from initial booking through event day. Additional terms specific to your event will be outlined in your individual service agreement.

Booking and payment

Event Design & Décor

A $500 nonrefundable booking retainer reserves your event date and allows us to begin preparing for your celebration with the remaining balance invoiced 8 weeks prior to your event.

Events booked within six weeks of the event date will require payment in full at the time of booking.

Please note: Wedding Design & Décor services require a $1,300 service minimum. Custom quote proposals for smaller celebrations are available following a consultation.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations

We understand that plans can sometimes change. Because your event date is reserved specifically for you and preparations may begin well in advance, the booking retainer is nonrefundable. Any additional payments made toward your event will be handled according to the cancellation terms outlined in your service agreement.

Rescheduling

If you need to move your celebration to a new date, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your new date based on availability. Any payments already made and additional cost associated with the change will be addressed according to your service agreement.

Design Development & approvals

Each Gatherings at the Vale event is thoughtfully designed for the individual celebration. Inspiration photos are always welcome and help us understand the colors, details, atmosphere, and styles you’re drawn to. From there, we’ll create an original design shaped specifically for your event.

You’ll have the opportunity to review your proposed design and share feedback before final preparations begin. We want you to feel excited and confident in the direction of your event, and reasonable adjustments can be made during this stage.

Once your design is approved, we’ll begin securing materials and preparing the details needed to bring it to life. Changes requested after final approval will be considered whenever possible and may affect your investment based on timing, materials, and the scope of the requested change.
